Promoting a great family atmosphere, Destin, Florida is the home of one of the largest Charter Fishing Fleets in the USA. Tourists and locals all enjoy watching the boats at various marinas come in and display their catches. Our Captains and Deckhands are professionals with years of experience. Boats range in size and speed. All boats are clean and most have restrooms and air-conditioned cabins. They are well equipped with the latest marine electronics.
For over 50 years the Blessing of the Fishing Fleet takes place each spring in the harbor. The boats line up in a procession displaying blue flags with a cross and dove. Then, each boat is individually called by name and blessed by several pastors from all denominations for safe passage and God’s provision for the fishermen. This is part of a week-long event called “Destin’s Week of Blessings”.
Several fishing tournaments are held in the spring, summer, and fall. The Destin Fishing Rodeo is held for the entire month of October. All kinds of awards and prizes are held in many different categories for anglers of all ages.
